We continue our commitment to environmental education and awareness on climate change, bringing to Albania the experience and knowledge gained during the study visit to Croatia, within the framework of the "Space data for climate action" project.
During this visit, we had the opportunity to learn firsthand about the use of the European Copernicus program, which provides satellite data for monitoring climate, environment, fires, floods and changes in the territory.
Today, this knowledge is being replicated in Albanian schools through practical activities and workshops with students and teachers, empowering young people to better understand climate challenges and their role in protecting the environment.
Thanks to the activities, it was concluded that:
Satellite data can be used in teaching to better understand the impact of climate change;
Schools can incorporate technology and real-world data analysis into the learning process; Students can develop critical thinking skills by analyzing concrete phenomena in their environment.
By connecting international experience with local reality, we are building bridges of cooperation and instilling environmental knowledge in the new generation.
