Today we mark 16 years of continuous efforts for the effective and sustainable management of the Karaburun-Sazan National Marine Park — a significant achievement for nature protection in Albania.
Over the years, the park has become a model of success for marine protected area management, proving that strong partnerships, community engagement, and a shared vision bring long-term results.
From community involvement and public awareness, to scientific monitoring and collaboration with national and international institutions, every step has contributed to the preservation of this precious marine ecosystem.
